Garden Host at the San Diego County Fair


As a volunteer Garden Host at our exhibit during the San Diego County Fair, you are part of our biggest outreach to the San Diego Community. You will answer questions for a few hours about our exhibit, water conservation and the Society and get free entry to the Fair.

  • You must be a San Diego Horticultural Society member.
  • You may sign up for multiple shifts.
  • You are responsible for your own transportation to and parking at the Fair.  More information about parking is available at: Fair Parking
  • You must attend the training session at our exhibit on Friday, June 7th at 1:30PM and/or read volunteer instructions. Volunteer instructions 
  • Your shift tickets are available at the Will Call desk at the main entrance (also known as the O'Brien gate) to the Fairgrounds
