Succulent Splendor

This garden, formerly a water-thirsty lawn has been converted to a symphony of succulents. See how we can use leaf color and texture to create vivid gardens without relying on flowers for color. The pool in rear is flanked by even more succulents and Cacti.



Stairway to Heaven 

Take a long walk up the driveway to experience this exquisite home and garden. The upper level of the garden boasts a large pool terrace with covered patio. Across from the front door lies a grand stairway to the lower garden featuring four parterres, that feature plants from four regions: the Mediterranean, South Africa, Australia and California.



Casa de Las Palmas

Stepping out of this home's living room you experience a stunning lap pool with Moroccan Tile. The pool is surrounded by and exotic desert oasis featuring a flowing stream and a myriad of cacti and succulents.

Cadence Gardens 

Don't miss this rare opportunity to see how Cadence at Poway Gardens has integrated growing vegetable into the programming for a senior retirement residence. Seniors work alongside grade school students to raise 27,000 pounds of food for their community as well as San Diego's food bank. See orchards, vegetables, and a greenhouse. Every visitor will receive with a small plant grown by Cadence.



Abraxis High School Garden

This award winning school garden exemplifies of how gardens heal. The garden teaches challenged students life skills. using a combination of raised beds, aquaponic and hydroponic gardens and compost to grow food for their community. A tank of 600 tilapia feed plants growing in water. Meet the students behind the work and experience the essence of food to table with their new garden kitchen.



Cottage Fantasy

This grand home is surrounded by perennial borders bursting with spring blooms. Enter the home through the front door to experience indoor/outdoor living at it's finest. The back wall of this home opens to an expansive lawn and pool surrounded by mixed borders with trees, shrubs and perennials.



Australian Paintbrush 

Chocked full of  interesting colorful Australian plants and succulents, this garden is sure to inspire. Experience mature Grevilleas, Westringias, and many more Aussie plants. This garden shows how difficult to landscape long, narrow spaces can be turned to stunning gardens.

Walking paths and cobblestone walls beckon you to explore, sit or meditate. The lovely Gazebo and pergolas invite more options for relaxation and appreciation of a rich palette of mature plants.




Contemporary Minimalism 

This newly designed garden makes use of a formerly rocked front yard. Rather than haul away tons of pink rock, the owner chose to compliment the existing rock with a variety of rock mulches that blend to make a unique landscape featuring a covered patio, fire pit, orchard, BBQ, and a stunning pastoral view.


Old Poway Park 

Old Poway Park features historic buildings from around Poway, brought to the site and restored. Included are Poway's first assembly hall, the International Order of Good Templars Hall and the Nelson House. Take time to grab some grub at the Hamburger Factory. See the 1938 Fairmont Speeder steam engine and ore cars, and a 1894 L.A. Yellow Trolley. Take a break in a two-acre green park styled after the Teddy Roosevelt National Park system.
