Growing Proteas With Daniel MacDonald Of Mt Woodson Flora

At the Oasis Rancho Bernardo In-person Only (No Zoom)

Daniel and his partner, Steve, are originally from Canada. In 2011 they purchased a magnificent property and protea farm that they fell in love with on the northwest slope of Mt Woodson. In 2016 they immigrated to the US and have lived here full time since. Daniel knew nothing about proteas when they first bought the property but have learned about growing and propagating proteas from other growers, books, and YouTube.

Daniel, will share with us many of us favorite cultivars and how to grow them successfully.

Also in December, we are invited to a members only tour of his garden and nursery. Look for more information about the event in early December.

Social hour and plant sales begin at 1:30 PM.
