Please join us to honor the San Diego Horticultural Society's Horticulturist of the Year for 2022 honoree, John Clements, Director of Gardens at the San Diego Botanic Garden.

John will be presented his award and speak about what horticulture means to him in his native work habitat. After the award presentation, enjoy cake and a guided tours of the gardens.

John Clements has been a horticultural professional for 46 years. Former nursery owner, gardener and koi pond builder to the rich and famous, horticulturalist, commercial fruit tree farmer, garden writer, agricultural historian, co-administrator of the San Diego Gardener Facebook group, and Director of Gardens at the 37-acre San Diego Botanic Garden.

Please note: Special place, day and time:

• Tuesday (not Monday)
• At the San Diego Botanic Garden (not at Congregation Beth Israel)
• 3 PM (not 6 PM)
• You must be a current SDHS member and pre-register to attend
•  Non-members, please join SDHS to attend
• The presentation will not be on Zoom
