"Making Gardening Accessible to All Ages and Abilities," San Diego Oasis center in Rancho Bernardo (17170 Bernardo Center Drive) on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 1:30 p.m.

Stephen Cantu has been a Master Gardener since 2008 and a wheelchair user since 1982.

He has taken his experience as a gardener and a wheelchair user to develop a program, called FIG; friendly, inclusive, gardening, in which he helps design gardens, not only for wheelchair users, but for an ageing population. Friendly, easy to work and safe, inclusive for all ages and abilities and as Stephen says ...

...gardening is gardening.

Social hour begins at 1:30 PM.
Presentations begin at 2:00 PM
