Take the mystery out of caring for orchids! Let an expert show you about the culture of orchids (and bromeliads), including: potting, type of mix etc. Learn in a beautiful setting from someone with decades of experience and great enthusiasm for these beautiful plants.

 

Jim Wright has been an active member of both the Orchid and Bromeliad Societies for over 30 years, a member of the Palm Society for 50 years, as well as participating in several other local plant groups. His fascinating garden has many varieties of plants, palms, ferns, a few begonias, and other tropical plants. It has been seen on several TV programs, including the national Gardening By The Yard. 

 

Bring the following:  

• Pen/pencil/note pad
• A camera, if desired
• Umbrella or Sunscreen, as required
• Hat
• Garden gloves
• Water and a snack
• Casual dress
• Closed-toe shoes REQUIRED
