Mediterranean Climate Plants and Proper Irrigation

 

Enjoy a tour of a tour of several large landscaped garden areas around Casa de Manana.  Discussions will include design decisions as well as the irrigation system installed, Netafim in-line drip, and the plant choices necessary for an oceanfront location.

 

Speaker/Host- Scott Spencer, Landscape Architect, from Scott Spencer Garden Design/Green Canyon Co. Scott is a long time member of the San Diego Horticultural Society, and a much-admired garden creator.  His work has been enjoyed on our Featured Gardens as well as numerous tours for garden clubs in the county over the years.  His outstanding gardens have been very well-published, appearing in Sunset magazine, several Sunset books, Better Homes and Gardens, San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles, and many more.
