May Featured Garden

The Featured Garden for May is the botanic wonderland of Gary Vincent and Wanda Mallen in Fallbrook.  This is a collector’s garden on a two-acre site, and contains many types of plant groups.

Some examples are cactus and succulents, palms and cycads, Australian natives and conifers.  In addition, there is a greenhouse for specialty plants from Africa, and tropical collections in the shaded areas around the greenhouse.  The garden is flat and easily accessible, with many winding paths between the various areas.  There are numerous sitting areas to relax and enjoy the views.  Even if you’ve been here before, it’s a guarantee there will be things you haven’t seen before!
